Goodness, it has been a long time since we blogged. Lots of reasons why not but no time for excuses - we're back.
There have been very high winds in Scotland these past few days and for once it's not of the farty dog bottom variety. (Goes without saying that is always around). Our roof tiles have been rattled and our blooming gardens ravaged by the gale force winds whistling through central Edinburgh. We do hope that no one was hurt too badly. We were lucky as our electricity wasn't affected unlike a lot of people in Scotland.
Dogs don't care much for the wind. It plays havoc with our ears for a start and it is just too noisy for me. All sorts of strange things happen when the wind blows. With the wind has come rain and sun, one or the other coming and going at rapid speed throughout the day. It's been hard to get a good walk in without getting drenched.
Last night after a bit of dashing in and out between showers we snuggled up together to try and block out the noise.

Today we've been out to see the damage:
split
crash
Lots of tree
Whole heap of tree
close inspection
tree and tail
A park full of sticks and she still wants this one!
